The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers that the notice of withdrawal and recall of 16 October 2020, published on the website of the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food, is withdrawn for the product Lignja patagonika cijela, smrznuta (whole frozen Patagonian squid), 500 g, LOT 012921, best before 14 July 2021.
A re-interpretation of the laboratory finding established that the product does not exceed the maximum permitted level of 1 mg/kg of cadmium and complies with Commission Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006.
The consumer notice has therefore been removed from the HAPIH website and the product may be consumed without restriction. Producer: NATURA d.o.o., Vinkovci; wholesale: METRO Cash and Carry d.o.o., Zagreb; origin: Spain.
