The Croatian Ministry of Agriculture is informing consumers about the recall of the product ALGA voćni namaz od šljiva (plum fruit spread), 700 g, LOT 46/18, use by 30.04.2019, produced by POLO d.o.o., Serbia.

The reason for the recall is an increased amount of the additive sorbic acid. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on food additives.

The importer for Croatia is DIV PROMET d.o.o., Donja Zelina, and the product is placed on the market by Kaufland k.d. Hrvatska, Zagreb and KTC d.d., Križevci. Country of origin: Serbia.
