The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the product BIO kurkuma u prahu 150 g Biola (organic turmeric powder), LOT numbers L 146-23 B and BL 146-23 C, best before 31.05.2022.

The reason for the recall is the presence of 2-chloroethanol (a precursor of ethylene oxide). The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food.
