The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the food supplement 24hr Detox day-night, LOT F03668, due to the presence of the pesticide ethylene oxide in a raw material of the product.

The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food, nor with Regulation 178/2002 establishing the general principles and requirements of food law.

The product was available through online sales at bodyandfit.com. The manufacturer is Aminolabs BV in Hasselt (Belgium) and the wholesaler is Body & Fit Shop in Heerenveen (Netherlands). The notice applies exclusively to the product with the details given above.
