The European Commission, through the RASFF system (notification 2026.4680, 28 May 2026), alerts on glasses with a fruit pattern (decoration: pink fruit with green leaves) originating from China and distributed to Croatia among other countries.

A sample showed lead migration of 29.80 mg (maximum permitted 8.0 mg) and cadmium migration of 2.69 mg (maximum permitted 2.5 mg); the sample was taken on 15 May 2026. The risk is classified as serious.

The glasses are labelled "Produced for: KiK Textilien und Non-Food GmbH" and carry batch number 251216-3 12212075631003000100 P278285 – 1221207/003. A recall from consumers has been launched in Croatia (poduzece.kik.hr and DIRH).
