The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the withdrawal and recall of the product SVJEŽA KONZUMNA JAJA LUKAČ – KLASA A (fresh consumer eggs LUKAČ – class A) in pack sizes RAZRED XL – 30/1, RAZRED L – 30/1, RAZRED M – 30/1, RAZRED M – 10/1 and RAZRED S – 30/1, LOT 010519/1, use by 01.05.2019.

The reason for the recall is the detected bacterium Salmonella Enteritidis. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law.

The product is produced and packed by LUKAČ d.o.o., Ostrovička 1, Zagreb. The country of origin is Croatia. The notice applies only to the product with the details given above.

Consumers should not use the eggs with the stated LOT and date and should return them to the shop where they were bought.
