Recall: S-Budget smoked ribs over Listeria monocytogenes

Spar and Mesna industrija Braća Pivac are recalling additional lots of S-Budget smoked ribs (L 1B8JEK, L 1B8CEQ, L 1B8DRA) over Listeria monocytogenes previously found in the product.

The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers that food business operators Mesna industrija Braća Pivac d.o.o. and SPAR Hrvatska d.o.o. are, as a precaution, recalling additional lot numbers of the product S-Budget Rebra dimljena VP (S-Budget smoked ribs).

The lots concerned are L 1B8JEK (use by 02.09.2026), L 1B8CEQ (use by 26.08.2026 and use by 30.08.2026) and L 1B8DRA (use by 30.08.2026).

The reason is Listeria monocytogenes previously found in the product. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs.
