The Croatian Inspectorate (Državni inspektorat Republike Hrvatske) has informed consumers about a recall of Schär Mix It Dunkel Rustico gluten-free flour, 1000 g.

The affected LOTs are 141025C, 141025D, 151025A, 151025B, 151025C, 151025D, 111125B, 111125C, 071225B, 071225C, 081225D, 091225A, 210126D, 220126A, 220126B, 130226C, 130226D and 140226A, with best-before dates from 14.10.2025 to 14.02.2026. The reason is an elevated level of tropane alkaloids in the product, which does not comply with Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915 on maximum levels of certain contaminants in food.

The manufacturer is DR SCHÄR AG / SPA, Winkelau 9, Burgstall (BZ), Italy, and the supplier is Salvia d.o.o., Slavonska avenija 26/4, Zagreb, Croatia. The notice applies exclusively to the product named above.
