The State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia informs consumers about the recall of the product SPAR PREMIUM Salted Anchovy Fillets in Olive Oil 212 g, best before: 01.09.2023, due to possible histamine content in the product.

The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for food, as a routine check found elevated histamine levels above the values set by the Regulation.

The manufacturer is Adriaticon d.o.o., Prisike II 15, Gizdavac, Croatia, and it is placed on the market by SPAR Hrvatska, Zagreb. Details of the recall are available on the food business operator's website.
