The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the withdrawal and recall of the product ŠUNKA ZA PIZZU (pizza ham), approx. 3.8 kg, item code 017676, with the following LOT numbers: 140423 (best before 18.11.2019), 141094 (best before 24.11.2019), 141404 (best before 2.12.2019 and 9.12.2019) and 141971 (best before 15.12.2019).

The product was made from meat from Austria for which there is doubt as to its health safety; the Ministry of Agriculture received this information through iRASFF.

The product was placed on the Croatian market by the company Stanić d.o.o. from Sveta Nedelja, through a supplier from Slovenia, Mesarstvo Oblak d.o.o. from Žiri. Because of the doubt as to its health safety, a withdrawal and recall is being carried out in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002.
