The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the withdrawal and recall of the product VON BARF STARTER, raw pet food, frozen product (5 sausages of 500 g), LOT number 20 2019, production/freezing date 16.05.2019, use-by date 30.05.2021.

The manufacturer is MAT GRUPA d.o.o., Vidikovac 44, Bjelovar, and the product was made for the company VON BARF d.o.o., Posavska 4, Samobor. The reason for the recall is the presence of salmonella and enterobacteria in the product, which does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 142/2011 on health rules for by-products of animal origin.

The product was placed on the market through retail shops: Pet Centar (Rijeka, Pula, Osijek, Split, Zagreb), Zvjerinjak (Zagreb), Životinjski svijet (Split), Pet Shop Oskar (Metković) and Pet Shop Daf (Rijeka).
