The State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia informs consumers about the recall of the product SALAMA OD DIVLJE SVINJE (wild boar salami), LOT 22259, use by 13.02.2023.

The reason for the recall is the detection of verotoxin-producing Escherichia coli (VTEC) bacteria. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) 178/2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law.

The manufacturer is Antica Macelleria Falorni srl, Greve in Chianti, Italy; the product is placed on the market by Salvia d.o.o. (specialist shop Bonkulović delikatese) in Zagreb. The notice applies exclusively to the product with the details given above.
