Update: Recall of Jomo bakery products over chlorpyrifos pesticide

The Croatian Inspectorate has issued an additional notice recalling various bakery products made by JOMO Zuckerbäckerei Gesellschaft m.b.H. of Austria.
The recall covers Mramorni blok kolač 400 g (best-before 17.8.2023., 21.8.2023., 3.9.2023., 21.9.2023.), Mramorni kuglof 400 g (14.8.2023., 30.8.2023.), Kolač mramorni Dulcetti 400 g (15.9.2023.), Kolač mramorni Jomo 400 g (19.8.2023., 14.9.2023.) and Kolač čokoladni 400 g (27.8.2023.).
The reason is residues of the pesticide chlorpyrifos in the flour used in production. The products do not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum pesticide residue levels.
The products are placed on the Croatian market by KONZUM PLUS d.o.o., Zagreb. The notice applies only to the products listed above.
