The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about newly established traceability of the recalled product PIRIFAN, SEA SALT, FINE IODISED, 180 g, best before: 15.06.2025., LOT: 20063 and best before: 31.12.2024., LOT: 03014.

The reason for the recall is the presence of plastic particles formed during salt grinding. The product does not comply with Regulation 178/2002 establishing the general principles and requirements of food law.

The product is packed by S.C. PIRIFAN DISTRIBUTION S.R.L., Romania, and sold at retail by Plodine d.d., Ružićeva 29, Rijeka. Details of the recall are available on the Plodine website.
