The European Commission validated RASFF notification 2026.5512 on 22 June 2026 concerning a chocolate product (Schokolade /// chocolate, 36 g) originating from Slovenia. The product was sampled in official controls on the market by Austria on 30 April 2026.

Official analysis found a high level of delta-9-THC (1880 ± 190 mg/kg), an unauthorised substance in food, and cannabidiol (CBD, 1730 ± 180 mg/kg), an unapproved novel food ingredient. The risk is classified as serious.
