The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of APTAMIL 2 PRONUTRA 800g, APTAMIL 1 PRONUTRA 800g, APTAMIL 3 PRONUTRA 800g, APTAMIL PRONUTRA 2 1.2kg and APTAMIL PRONUTRA 1 1.2kg, with various EAN codes, lots and best-before dates.

The reason for the recall is the detection of the toxin cereulide in the products. They do not comply with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002 and with the Guidance on the microbiological criteria for foodstuffs.

The products were distributed by AWT International d.o.o. of Zagreb and sold by the retailer BIPA d.o.o. of Zagreb. Details of the withdrawal and recall are also available on the company's website: bipa.hr/aktualnosti/danone-aptamil/.
