The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of ARO paper straws FI8 black, in 250/1 and 100/1 packs.

The product contains an elevated level of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (CAS: 2634-33-5) (BIT) and does not comply with the regulations on materials intended to come into direct contact with food and Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004.

The product was placed on the market by METRO Cash & Carry d.o.o., Jankomir 31, 10090 Zagreb, which is also the importer. The country of origin is Serbia.
