The State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia informs consumers about the recall of Domaća baklava Layla 500g (LOT 5171, 5184, 5200, 5216, 5228) and Domaća Baklava Nubake pistachio 500g (LOT 5200, 5216, 5230) with best-before dates from 18.10.2025 to 16.12.2025.

The recall is due to an elevated level of the pesticide chlorpyrifos-ethyl in the flour used in production. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum pesticide residue levels.

The manufacturer is New Bakery d.o.o., Donji Stupnik, and the product was sold by SPAR Hrvatska d.o.o., Zagreb. The country of origin of the raw material is Slovenia.
