The State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia informs consumers that METRO Cash & Carry Hrvatska, following a notification from supplier NEDERLOF ITALIA SRL, has withdrawn from the market fresh mackerel, production series LOT 15626.

The recall is due to a histamine level above the permitted limits. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EU) No 2023/915 on maximum levels of certain contaminants in food.
