The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of the products Organska tamna čokolada 72% badem, 100g (LOT L22343, best before 09/03/2024) and Organska tamna čokolada 57% višnja – badem, 100g (LOT L22302, best before 29/01/2024 and LOT L23067, best before 08/06/2024).

The products are recalled because of a possible increased amount of mycotoxin – aflatoxin. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 setting maximum levels of certain contaminants in foodstuffs.

The manufacturer is Kim's Chocolates NV, Tienen, Belgium, and the product is placed on the market by DUPIN d.o.o., Dvorničićeva 22, Zagreb. Details of the recall are available on the food business operator's website. The notice applies exclusively to the products listed above.
