The Croatian State Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of a product – pet food VERSELE-LAGA Menu Nature, colourful sunflower, 1.5 kg, LOT: FH256, because of the pesticide chlorpyrifos detected in it.

The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 February 2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin.

The manufacturer is BFB Plus Kft. from Hungary; the product is placed on the market by PET NETWORK INTERNATIONAL d.o.o. of Zagreb. Details of the recall are available on the website of the food-business operator.
