Update: recall of SPAR FREE FROM biscuits 200 g over ethylene oxide

The Ministry of Agriculture published on 28 July 2021 a correction to the consumer notice of 27 July 2021 recalling the product SPAR FREE FROM KEKSIĆI 200 g, EAN 3856021204524.

The recall covers lots L:200286 (best before 12.8.2021), L:200405 (23.10.2021), L:200494 (11.12.2021), L:210056 (5.2.2022), L:210136 (24.3.2022), L:210223 (13.5.2022) and L:210278 (23.6.2022). The reason is the pesticide ethylene oxide found in an additive used in the production process, meaning the product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides.

The correction concerns the manufacturer details: the product is made by SAPIDUM d.o.o., Celje, Slovenia, and placed on the market by SPAR HRVATSKA d.o.o., Slavonska avenija 50, Zagreb.
