Adios API and MCP terms of use
In force from 11 October 2026.
By using the Adios API, the MCP server or webhooks you accept these terms. Everything else on adios.hr is under the site's general terms of use.
Who provides the API
TOMBRA, a joint craft business for services, OIB 28102553473 ("Adios"). Contact: [email protected] ยท full details on the contact page.
Permitted use
- You may show the API's news in your apps, sites, tools and AI assistants: the headline, a short summary, the place, the time and the link.
- With each story name the source (the portal) or Adios and give the link (the url or source.url field).
- Summaries, daily reviews and timelines are written by Adios; when you show them, credit "Adios".
- The free plan may be used in commercial projects too while it is in its test phase; for heavy traffic, get in touch.
Not permitted
- Taking or publishing the portals' full texts. The API doesn't give them, and the content belongs to the portals.
- Reselling the data as your own API or dataset, or building a replacement for Adios from its data.
- Getting around the limits: several accounts, rotating keys or MCP sessions for more calls.
- Overloading the system, probing for weaknesses without agreement, or using the API for spam, harassment, disinformation or anything unlawful.
- Training large language models on Adios's archive without a written agreement.
Keys and account
- Keep keys secret; you are responsible for calls made with your key. Revoke a lost key in the console at once.
- Adios may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or endangers the system, with notice where possible.
- You can close the developer account yourself in the console (Plan and account); keys and webhooks are deleted.
Logs and privacy
For security, debugging and usage statistics we log every call: the time, the endpoint or tool, the parameters (never the key), the status, the duration, the IP address and the app's name (User-Agent). The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Calls with a key: 30 days, visible to you in the console.
- MCP calls without a key: 7 days.
- Webhook deliveries (address, status, content sent): 30 days.
- Daily call counts (without IP addresses) are kept longer, for statistics.
The developer account is tied to your Adios account (email); the project name, website and description are yours to give. More in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The API is given "as is". The news comes from the portals, and the summaries, places and timelines are put together by Adios with AI: they may be incomplete or wrong. In emergencies always follow official sources (112, DHMZ, the police, HAK).
We don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Adios's liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
Changes and prices
- The API is free now. If we introduce paid plans the free one stays (maybe with other limits), and nothing is charged without your explicit consent.
- We announce changes to these terms, and changes that could break your code, by email at least 14 days in advance.
