The European Commission validated RASFF notification 2026.2103 on 27 May 2026 concerning praline fillings with hazelnut from the Netherlands, supplied in a screw-top jar of 325 g, SKU F54440 40013C.

Almond protein was detected in the product but not declared on the label, together with labelling deficiencies. The risk is considered serious because it may cause an allergic reaction in people allergic to almonds. The sample was taken on 11 November 2025.

The notification was made by Germany. The product was distributed to Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Guadeloupe, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Spain ordered a recall from consumers and Luxembourg issued a public warning. Croatia is listed for follow-up.
