Recall: Alnatura tortilla chips and Salsa rolls over tropane alkaloids

Croatia's inspectorate recalls three Alnatura 125g chips (paprika, Natur and Salsa rolls) over elevated tropane alkaloids, all dates up to 07.12.2022, sold at Bipa.

The State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia informs consumers about the recall of Alnatura products due to an increased amount of tropane alkaloids.

The recall covers: Alnatura Corn (tortilla) Chips with Paprika 125g, Alnatura Corn (tortilla) Chips Natur 125g and Alnatura Corn Chips Salsa Rolls 125g, all validity dates up to 07.12.2022.

The products do not comply with Regulation 178/2002 establishing the general principles and requirements of food law. The manufacturer is Alnatura Produktions- und Handels GmbH, Darmstadt (Germany); the product is placed on the market by BIPA d.o.o., Vodovodna 20/A, Zagreb.
