The State Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of BIO CHOCOLATE CHIP PEANUT BUTTER 350 g, which is placed on the Croatian market also under the names BIO kikiriki maslac s čokoladnim čipsom 350 g and BIO namaz od kikirikija s okusom čokolade 350 g. The affected batch is LOT L0107, best before: 01.07.2023.

The product is recalled because the milk protein allergen is not declared on it. It does not comply with Regulation 178/2002 and Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.

Because the allergen is not labelled, the product may pose a health risk to consumers sensitive to milk protein, while people who are not allergic may continue to use it without restriction.

The manufacturer is Nutrisslim, proizvodnja in distribucija živil, d.o.o, Ig, Slovenia. It is placed on the market by POL-HOR d. o. o., Rijeka and Šakti Ko d.o.o., Samobor.
