The EU Safety Gate system (reference SR/02316/26) has published a recall for HARLEY-DAVIDSON motorcycles: Heritage Classic, Street Bob, Low Rider S and Low Rider ST (models e4*168/2013*00183*00-*01 (ST2) and e4*168/2013*00191*01 (ST2-R)), produced from 25 June 2024 to 18 March 2026.
The rear brake line may rub against the body control module and develop a leak. This could reduce rear-wheel braking performance, increasing the risk of an accident and injury. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of two- or three-wheel vehicles and quadricycles.
The alert was notified by Germany, and the product was found on the market in Croatia by its authorities. A voluntary product recall from consumers was carried out by the importer from 10 August 2026. More information is available on the Harley-Davidson service recalls page.
