The EU Safety Gate published a recall on 4 August 2026 for Hyundai i30 and i30N (PDe and PDeN) passenger cars, model e5*2007/46*1075*16, found on the market in Croatia by its authorities.
Deformation of the internal spring inside the centre rear seatbelt mini-buckle may prevent the seatbelt from latching securely. As a result, the centre rear occupant may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers.
