The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the product LOBO, Chinese 5-spice mix, 400g, article number HS 16991, best before 20.08.2021, due to the presence of the pesticide ethylene oxide.

The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food, nor with Regulation 178/2002 on the general principles and requirements of food law.

The exporter is Globo Foods Ltd., Thailand, the importer Heuschen&Schrouff OFT B.V., Netherlands, and the product is placed on the market by PAN ASIA d.o.o., Zagreb. More details about the recall are available on the food business operator's Facebook page.
