Croatia's Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the product "Hamburger peciva, Bez glutena – Organska 125g, Schnitzer" with the following best-before dates: 27.01.2021.; 03.02.2021.; 06.02.2021.; 10.02.2021.; 17.02.2021.; 24.02.2021.; 01.03.2021.; 03.03.2021.; 07.03.2021.; 14.03.2021.; 21.03.2021.; 28.03.2021.; 07.04.2022.; 12.04.2021.; 15.04.2021.
The product is recalled because an elevated amount of ethylene oxide was found in the sesame seeds used in its production. It does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum pesticide residue levels or Regulation 178/2002 on general principles and requirements of food law.
