Croatia's Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of four sesame seed products: Biozone sezam 250g, Ekozona sezam 200g, Organica sezam 200g and bio&bio sezam 200g. All listed products carry LOT B2010532001 and a best-before date of 30.01.2022.

The products are recalled because an elevated amount of ethylene oxide was found. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in food.

The manufacturer and the operator placing the product on the Croatian market is BIOVEGA d.o.o., Majstorska 1c, Zagreb. Wholesale: Ziegler & Co GmbH, Wunsiedel, Germany. The notice applies only to the product with the details given above.

Consumers should not eat the products with the stated LOT and should return them to the shop where they were bought or contact BIOVEGA d.o.o. for more information.
