The Croatian State Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of Silver Swan soy sauce 1000 ml, use by 16.08.2023.

The reason for the recall is an elevated level of 3-monochloro-1,2-propanediol (3-MCPD) in the product, a substance classified as potentially carcinogenic to humans. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 on maximum levels of certain contaminants in foodstuffs.
