The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers that the food business operator Mars Hrvatska d.o.o. is precautionarily recalling the ice creams SNICKERS XTRA ice cream bar 66g, TWIX ice cream bar 34.2g (6-pack), BOUNTY ice cream bar 39.1g (6-pack), SNICKERS ice cream bar 48g (6-pack), TWIX ice cream bar 47g and M&Ms peanut ice cream stick 62g.

The products are recalled because the pesticide ethylene oxide was detected in an additive used in their production process. They therefore do not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food.

The recall covers numerous batch codes and best-before dates listed in the notice table. The supplier is MARS HRVATSKA d.o.o., Zagreb, and the distributor is STANIĆ d.o.o., Sv. Nedjelja.
