The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of the product Škampi (Nephrops norvegicus), 13-16 with 25% Glaze, 1 kg, frozen. This is an additional notice to an earlier publication.

The affected batches are the supplier's batch (LOT) 21555 and the batch at Orada Adriatic (LOT) 42498, use by 24.08.2024.

The product contains an elevated amount of sulphites that are not declared on the label. Because the allergen – sulphites – is not declared, the product may pose a health risk to consumers sensitive to sulphites, while people who are not allergic may continue to use it without restriction.

The product does not comply with Regulation 178/2002 and Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers. The manufacturer is Laeso fish ltd, Peterhead, United Kingdom, and the wholesaler is ORADA ADRIATIC d.o.o., Kukuljanovo. The notice applies exclusively to the product with the details given above.
