The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of Aptamil AR 2, follow-on food for infants from 6 months onwards (increased regurgitation), NET: 400 g, food for special medical purposes, with a best-before date of 02.01.2027.

The reason for the recall is the detected cereulid toxin in the product. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the Guidance on the microbiological criteria for foodstuffs.

The supplier is Nutricia Export BV, Rijswijk, Netherlands, and the distributor is AWT International d.o.o., Zagreb. Details on the withdrawal and recall are also available on the company's website.
