The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers that, as a precaution, NAN COMFORTIS 1 infant formula, LOT number L-53260346AA, best before 30.11.2027., is being recalled because cereulide, a toxin of the bacterium Bacillus cereus, was detected in the product.

The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety.
