The Croatian State Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of the product PIRIFAN, FINE IODISED SEA SALT, 180g, LOT 06103, best before 30.09.2024.

The reason for the recall is the presence of plastic particles formed during the grinding of the salt. The product does not comply with Regulation 178/2002 establishing the general principles and requirements of food law.

The product is packed by S.C. PIRIFAN DISTRIBUTION S.R.L., Romania, and is sold at retail by Plodine d.d., Ružićeva 29, Rijeka. Details of the recall are available on the food business operator's website.
