The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of the product Zagorski kvrgavi kulen (cured meat product), 500 g, LOT 23012023, produced 23.01.2023, use by 06.02.2024.

The reason for the recall is the detection of bacteria of the genus Salmonella spp. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs.

The manufacturer is ŠKALEC PROMET d.o.o., Lanište 5d, meat processing Družilovec 116, and the product was placed on the market by Mesnica Grašo. The notice applies exclusively to the product mentioned above.
