The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the product BIOLA Oljuštene sjemenke sezama (BIOLA hulled sesame seeds) with LOT numbers OPI/CN131/20/129/OHS and OPI/CN131/20/129/OHSS-1, due to an elevated amount of ethylene oxide.

The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food and with Regulation 178/2002 establishing the general principles and requirements of food law.

The product is placed on the market by BIO PLANET d.o.o. za trgovinu i usluge, Antuna Mihanovića 38A, Split, through its BIO PLANET shops at Mall of Split and Joker shopping centres. The producer is Organic Products India, Pune, Maharashtra, India; the supplier is DO-IT BV, Barneveld, Netherlands.

Consumers are asked not to consume the product with the listed LOT numbers.
