The European Commission validated RASFF notification 2026.4975 on 5 June 2026 concerning boiled potato (3 kg) from Slovenia in which the undeclared allergen sulphites (E220, sulphur dioxide) were found, with results of 448 mg/kg and 420 mg/kg in samples taken on 28 May 2026.

The risk is classified as serious and the alert is based on a consumer complaint. The product was distributed to Austria, Croatia, Germany and Italy; Croatia is asked to follow up on the alert.
