The State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia informs consumers about the recall of Confiserie Firenze Baklava, 500 g (13 lots, best-before dates from 04.10.2025 to 04.12.2025) and Domaća Baklava NuBake pistachio, 500 g (LOT 5179, best-before 26.10.2025).

The products are recalled because of an elevated level of the pesticide chlorpyrifos-ethyl in the flour used in their production. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides.

The manufacturer is New Bakery d.o.o., Donji Stupnik, and the retailer is Lidl Hrvatska d.o.o. k.d., Velika Gorica. The country of origin of the raw material is Slovenia.
