The Croatian State Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of the products Domaća baklava Nubake orah, 500g and Domaća baklava Nubake pistacio, 500g.

The recall covers LOTs 5160 (best before 7.10.2025), 5172 (19.10.2025), 5186 (2.11.2025), 5207 (23.11.2025), 5213 (29.11.2025) and 5230 (16.12.2025) for both products.

The reason is an elevated level of the pesticide chlorpyrifos-ethyl in the flour used in production, meaning the product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum pesticide residue levels.

The manufacturer is New Bakery d.o.o., Donji Stupnik, and retail is NewMip d.o.o., Sisak. The country of origin of the raw material is Slovenia. The notice applies exclusively to the product with the above details.
