The EU Safety Gate rapid alert system (reference SR/02314/26) published a recall on 18 August 2026, notified by Germany. It concerns Ford Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom passenger vans (models e5*2018/858*00191*00-*01 (NXN) and e5*2018/858*00192*00-*01 (NRN)), made in Turkey.

Cracks in the fuel line could lead to a fuel leak above the exhaust after-treatment systems. If the leaking fuel comes into contact with hot components, it could ignite and cause a vehicle fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers.

The manufacturer launched a voluntary recall from consumers on 10 August 2026. The product was found on the market in Croatia by its authorities; it was also found by the authorities of France, Hungary, Slovenia and Slovakia. More information is available on the Ford support and recalls pages.
