Croatia's Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the product Grissino Torinese sesamo, LOT number U2882, best before 14.10.2021, due to an increased amount of the pesticide ethylene oxide.

The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food, or with Regulation 178/2002 establishing the general principles and requirements of food law.

The manufacturer is Grissitalia S.R.L., Via Valle S Bartolomeo 37, Alessandria, Italy. The product is placed on the Croatian market by PLODINE d.d., Ružićeva 29, Rijeka.
