The Croatian Inspectorate informs consumers about the recall of the product KIM/CUMIN POWDER JEERA, 100 g, trade name Jeera Powder Cumin, with a best-before date of 30.4.2023.

The recall is due to an elevated level of the pesticide chlorpyrifos. The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food.

The importer is Pekinška patka j.d.o.o., Samobor, Croatia, and the supplier is Asia Express Food B.V., Kempen, the Netherlands. Further information is available on the food business operator's website.
