Croatia's Ministry of Agriculture has issued a recall of the frozen raw dog food Kivo COMPLETE BEEF&DUCK (Kivo COMPLETE beef and duck), 500 g, LOT 19072504, use-by 25.7.2020, and Kivo COMPLETE HORSE&RABBIT (Kivo COMPLETE horse and rabbit), 500 g, LOT 190202, use-by 20.08.2020. The manufacturer is KIVO PETFOOD BV of Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
The products were recalled because of the presence of bacteria of the genus Salmonella spp. They do not comply with Regulation (EC) No 142/2011 on health rules for by-products of animal origin.
The products were placed on the market through the retail shops MAIR d.o.o., Pet Shop Šape, Gospodska ulica 6, Zagreb and RED KELPIE J d.o.o., Pet Shop Moja ljubica, Ul. Lavoslava Ružičke 14, Zagreb. Wholesale: IRIS Mednarodna trgovina d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia.
