The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers that this is an addendum to the recall notice of Kivo products published on 16 October 2019. Because Salmonella spp. bacteria were found, the following frozen dog foods are also being recalled: Kivo MONO BEEF 500 g (LOT 190604, best before 29.12.2020.), Kivo MONO RABBIT 500 g (LOT 190405, best before 10.10.2020.), Kivo BEEF AND CHICKEN 250 g (LOT 190701, best before 31.12.2020.), Kivo PUPPY BEEF AND DUCK 500 g (LOT 1907254, best before 25.07.2020.) and Kivo PUPPY BEEF AND CHICKEN 250 g (LOT 19072202, best before 22.07.2020.).

The products do not comply with Regulation (EC) No 142/2011 on health rules for animal by-products not intended for human consumption.

The manufacturer is KIVO PETFOOD BV, Veldhoven, Netherlands, and the wholesaler is IRIS Mednarodna trgovina d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia. The products are placed on the market by MAIR d.o.o., Pet Shop Šape, Zagreb and RED KELPIE J d.o.o., Pet Shop Moja ljubica, Zagreb.
