The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the withdrawal and recall of the product DAGNJA – Mytillus galoprovincijalis, LOT 133068, production date 30.08.2019, after the bacterium Escherichia coli was detected.

The product originates from the live shellfish dispatch centre KATIĆ, a craftsman business for fisheries, trade and services, owner Ivica Katić, approval number 1537, and was placed on the market at the fish market TROGIR HOLDING d.o.o. in Trogir, at the sales outlet T.O. REČINA, owner Zdene Smodlaka, Borisa Papandopola 5, Split.

The product does not comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs. The country of origin is Croatia. The notice applies exclusively to the product with the details given above.

Consumers should not eat this product and should return it to the point of sale where it was purchased.
