The Ministry of Agriculture is recalling PAN PEK protein crackers 200 g (EAN 3859888751569) with best-before dates from 01.11.2020 to 21.12.2020 because of elevated ethylene oxide in a raw material used in production.

The Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the recall of the product PAN PEK – PROTEIN CRACKERS 200 g, bar code 3859888751569, with best-before dates 01.11.2020., 08.11.2020., 15.11.2020., 20.11.2020., 22.11.2020., 24.11.2020., 28.11.2020., 06.12.2020., 13.12.2020., 20.12.2020. and 21.12.2020.

The reason for the recall is an elevated amount of ethylene oxide found in a raw material used during production. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food, nor with Regulation 178/2002 on the general principles and requirements of food law.
