Croatia's Ministry of Agriculture informs consumers about the withdrawal and recall of the product Spar Vital protein crackers 200 g, EAN 3856021202148, with the following best-before dates: 30.10.2020, 01.11.2020, 6.11.2020, 8.11.2020, 13.11.2020, 15.11.2020, 20.11.2020, 22.11.2020, 28.11.2020, 04.12.2020, 06.12.2020, 11.12.2020 and 13.12.2020.

The reason for the recall is an elevated amount of ethylene oxide found in a raw material used during production. The product does not comply with Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum pesticide residue levels and Regulation 178/2002 on the general principles and requirements of food law.

The product is placed on the market by SPAR HRVATSKA d.o.o., Slavonska avenija 50, Zagreb, and is produced by Pan-pek d.o.o., Planinska 2c, Zagreb. More information about returning and recalling the product is available at spar.hr/obavijesti.
